Profile

Dr. Md Sajjad Hosain is currently serving as an Assistant professor at the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Science and Technology Chittagong. He is also serving as a Postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Business and Communication of Universiti Malaysia Perlis. Prior to this, he completed PhD in Management from Business School, Sichuan University. Earlier, he completed MSc. in Management from University of Wales Institute Cardiff (currently known as Cardiff Metropolitan University) and Post Graduate Diploma in International Human Resource Management from University of East London. Before that, he completed MBA and BBA from the Department of Accounting & Information Systems of University of Chittagong. He has more 7 years of teaching and research experience at the university level. He served as Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology and Uttara University. Dr. Hosain also served as a Guest Faculty at North South University and International Islamic University Chittagong. His areas of research interest are Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Strategy, International Trade and Development and Political Economy. Dr. Hosain published so far 76 papers in international peer-reviewed journals. He has 15 papers published in Web of Science indexed journals and 16 papers in Scopus indexed journals. He has also published several papers in the journals ranked in Australian Business Deans council. Dr. Hosain is also currently serving a reviewer for a number of prestigious journals indexed with SSCI, ESCI, Scopus and ranked in ABDC.
