Profile

Shahinul Islam joined USTC in 2019 as Assistant Professor of English Literature. He has more than 7 years’ teaching experience in diverse disciplines, namely, English Literature, History, Philosophy, South Asian Studies and Film Studies in different institutions of Bangladesh. He has been working as the Chair of the Department of English Language and Literature since April 2021.

Apart from teaching at USTC, Shahinul Islam has been involved in diverse institutions at home and abroad in different capacities. He works as a Creative Writer, Curriculum Planner, Thesis Reviewer, and Newsletter Editor at different organizations.
