Tamanna Nowrin Azam is driven to inspire and instruct students to pursue academic and personal excellence and to create a challenging and engaging learning environment in which students become lifelong scholar and learner. Henceforth, she is motivated to pursue research and further study for self-development. Tamanna joined USTC in 2022 as Assistant Professor of English Language and Literature.
She has more than 6 years of teaching experience in diverse disciplines, namely, Philosophy, American Literature, Shakespeare’s Plays, South Asian Literature, and basics of English language and literature in different institutions of Bangladesh.
In addition to her teaching career at USTC, Tamanna Nowrin Azam has been involved in diverse institutions at home and abroad in different capacities. She is a language trainer, life skill trainer, a researcher, and an explorer of newer field of knowledge.
Her research interests are particularly based on psycholinguistics, applied linguistics, and comparative literature. She has been continuously improving her capabilities by attending a wide range of trainings and courses at home and abroad. She is affiliated with TESOL, BELTA, AsiaTEFL, iatefl, and GASD.
