Mubasshar-Ul-Ishraq Tamim joins as a Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in University of Science and Technology, Chittagong (USTC) in 2025. He received his Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science with a major in Intelligent Systems from the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) in 2025, achieving a CGPA of 3.92. He also completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science and Engineering with a major in Software Engineering from AIUB in 2024 under an academic scholarship, graduating with distinction (CGPA 3.90).

Tamim has authored and co-authored several publications in reputed international journals and conferences. His works include contributions in Diagnostics (MDPI), International Journal on Informatics Visualization (JOIV), and Plant Direct. He has also presented at international conferences such as the International Conference on Electronics and Informatics and the International Conference on Data Science and Communication. His research focuses on machine learning, deep learning, explainable artificial intelligence (XAI), image processing, and software engineering applications.

He has received numerous awards during his academic journey, including the Vice Chancellor’s Award (Gold) for Best Thesis in 2025, Academic Award (Magna Cum Laude, Silver) in 2025, and recognition in the Dean’s List Honors. He was also awarded the Best Poster Presentation Award at the International Conference on Electronics and Informatics 2022.

In addition to his research and academic achievements, Tamim gained industry experience as a Software Engineer Trainee at E-Ostaad, where he worked as a front-end developer. He is actively involved in student organizations work, including roles in the Engineering Students’ Association of Bangladesh (ESAB), the National STEAM Olympiad, and the Computer Club.

His primary academic interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Explainable AI, Computer Vision, and Software Development.
