Profile

Dr. Abu Sadat Md. Sayem has been serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmacy in University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) for 3 years. Dr. Sayem achieved his PhD degree from the Department of Pharmacy, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2018. During his bachelor and PhD Study, he was awarded several scholarships for his excellent academic performances. He has been teaching for 3 years and 6 months in USTC. He has seven years long track record of research. He has been doing research on the area of physiology and molecular pharmacology, especially cell culture to perform different assays, in-vivo analysis of mRNA levels, target protein expressions and distributions. In addition, he performed isolation and purification of natural compounds, as well as, investigations bioactivity. Dr. Sayem has published total 11 research articles, out of which 9 articles have been published in ISI-Indexed Journals.
