Profile

Biotechnology researcher with special interest in the environmental and bioenergy application of biotechnology. Broad scientific and biological background with specialization and experience in biotechnology, microbiology and bioprocess/biochemical engineering. Competent in working with HPLC, GC, FPLC, ICP-MS and Molecular Biology techniques. Skilled in developing and implementing upstream processes for the pre-treatment of lignocellulosic, agricultural and industrial organic wastes by using various physicochemical and biological methods and developing bioprocess workflows to increase the production of various metabolic by-products from anaerobic fermentation.
