Md Sarour Hosen is a Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration at the University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC), serving since July 2025. He earned both his BBA and MBA in Management Information Systems from Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU).

His work centers on machine learning—especially text mining and recommender systems—with a practical goal: turning messy text into usable insight for better decisions. In the classroom, he emphasizes clear thinking, careful methods, and collaboration across disciplines. At USTC, he is focused on strengthening research capacity, mentoring students, and advancing data-driven initiatives.

Over the long term, Sarour aims to become a full professor and help lead a top-tier academic institution that sets high standards in teaching, research, and societal impact.
