Ms. Afifa Rahman has received both her B.A. (hons.) degree in English Language and Literature and M. A degree in English Literature from The University of Dhaka. She takes interest in media and cultural studies along with deep interest in postmodern theories and is currently working on research projects related to these fields. She has completed a short course in French Language from the Institute of Modern Languages, The University of Dhaka.

She is the advisor of the English Language and Culture Club. Under her supervision the club has organized many events like public speaking competitions, poetry recitation competitions etc. She is also in charge of organizing “Monthly Seminar” for the department (DELL). She, with the help of the IT section, actively supervised the set-up of Language Lab.

With a solid academic foundation and a keen focus, she wishes to excel in delivering compelling lectures that inspire students.
