Profile

Dr. Md Khaled Bin Chowdhury joined the Department of English Language and Literature (DELL) of University of Scienc and Technology Chittagong (USTC) as Professor and Chair on 15 October 2023. Prior to that he worked in the Department of English of BGC Trust University Bangladesh in Chittagong in different capacities since January 2006 to 12 October 2023. Before that, he also worked as a Lecturer in English at Raozan College, Chattogram since 1996 to 2005.

Education

  • Ph.D. from the Department of English Language Studies, Faculty of Major Languages, University of Islamic Science Malaysia (USIM).
  • Masters in Practice of English Language Teaching (PELT) from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom.
  • Masters of Arts and Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in English Literature with 5th positions in both from the University of Chittagong.
  • Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA), a globally accredited certificate course for English teachers offered by the University of Cambridge at the British Council, Bangladesh.
