Profile

Gazi Wafa Akbar joined USTC in the year 2023 as lecturer of Genetic Engineering and
Biotechnology. She completed her Bachelor’s and Masters from the department of
Biochemistry and Biotechnology, USTC and received Chancellor’s Gold Medal award for
her excellence result in Bachelor’s degree.
She has more than 6 years of experience in the teaching field – which includes training
individuals in different IT skills, research skills and different educational sectors.
Apart from her teaching part in USTC, she is also involved in research work in USTC and in
other institutes namely CVASU (Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Science). She also
works as Supervision or BB Tech Debate club and United Progress Foundation (UPF).
