Profile

Ifaz Ahmed Adan is a Junior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at the University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC). He earned his BSc Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) with honors from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET). His areas of expertise include Machine Learning (ML), Power Plant Optimization using Genetic Algorithms, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design, and the Internet of Things (IoT). In the energy sector, his work centers on optimizing power plant performance using multi-objective genetic algorithms and predictive modeling to enhance system reliability and sustainability. In addition to his academic and research pursuits, Ifaz has practical experience in embedded systems and PCB development, which supports his work on IoT-based smart monitoring solutions. He aims to contribute to the advancement of intelligent, sustainable, and technology-driven solutions across diverse engineering domains.
