Md Shoaibur Rahman is a Junior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the University of Science & Technology Chittagong (USTC), where he has been serving since March 2025.
He obtained his B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET) in June 2024. His undergraduate thesis, titled “A Comprehensive Approach of Design & Analysis of Solar-Pedal Assisted Electric Three-Wheeler,” was published in the peer-reviewed journal Discover Energy (Springer Nature), reflecting his commitment to sustainable transportation technologies.
Currently, he is collaborating with a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, on research focused on Power Electronics in Wireless Power Transfer.
His research interests include Power Electronics, Electric Vehicles & Transportation, Wireless Power Transfer, Power Conversion Systems, Electrical Machines, Drives & Control, Renewable Energy Systems, Biomedical Applications, and Industrial & Consumer Electronics.
He is proficient in several simulation and design tools, including PSIM, LTSpice, MATLAB Simulink, Advanced Design System (ADS), PSpice, and Proteus.
He remains dedicated to academic excellence and innovative research, striving to contribute meaningfully to the development of intelligent and energy-efficient systems.
