Mohammad Minhazul Islam is a dedicated academic and researcher currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC). He has a strong academic foundation from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) holding both a B.A. and M.A. in English language and literature. He have obtained 3 Dean’s letters and scholarships for his outstanding result in undergrad. Furthermore, he demonstrates a deep commitment to teaching, research, and community engagement.
His research interests span literature, moral philosophy, postcolonial ideology, and cultural studies, reflected in his published paper, “Critical Scrutiny on Moral Corruption in Jospeh Conrad’s Heart of Darkness,”” in the International Journal of Advanced Multidisciplinary Research (2023). Furthermore, he used to write op-ed and articles in “”The Daily Messenger””(2025). Additionally, he has also presented and attended numerous seminars and international conferences, including a fully funded Youth Conference on Tobacco Control and Climate Issues organized by CTFK in Colombo, Sri Lanka (2024) under the surveillance of Johns Hopkins University, USA.
Beyond academia, Minhazul has extensive experience in youth leadership and social advocacy, working with Nari Maitree to promote gender equality, human rights, and sustainable development goals. His excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and proactive approach make him an asset in both educational and developmental fields.
On the other hand, he is fluent in English and Bengali, has foundational knowledge of French. Mr. Islam’s goal is to contribute to knowledge creation and dissemination, nurturing learners to become both competent professionals and compassionate human beings.
