Dr. Most. Tauhida Tabassum has joined the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), USTC as a Senior Lecturer in February, 2026. She has a specialization in high voltage engineering and plasma science, with research focused on plasma-based environmental applications, particularly wastewater treatment using pulsed streamer discharge. Her research interests include high voltage electrical discharges, plasma physics and chemistry, plasma-liquid interactions, and advanced wastewater treatment technologies. She has hands-on expertise in diagnostic and analytical techniques such as optical emission spectroscopy (OES), UV-Vis spectroscopy, and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
