Profile

Ms. Nazratun Noor Maria have completed her B.Pharm (Professional) and M.Pharm from the Department of Pharmacy, University of Chittagong in 2019 and 2020 respectively. She has completed her Theis (Masters) from University of Chittagong, Department of Pharmacy.
During Her academic tenure she had a one-year project work on phytochemical and pharmacological screening of Methanolic extracts of Ocimum basilicum stem & Citrus macroptera leaves. She had a one-year Thesis experience on Phytochemical & Pharmacological Screening on Citrus maxima seeds extracts. She gathered a valuable industrial experience from the In-Plant training from Beximco Pharmaceuticals Bangladesh Ltd., and Hospital training from Chattogram Maa-Shishu O General Hospital. Currently she is serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy, USTC from April 5, 2022. She received a Prestigious R&D research grant from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Bangladesh in the Biology, medicine and nutrition group in the fiscal year 2023-2024. Her research interest lies in Pharmacological pre-clinical activity analysis on different animal models. Recently she is doing molecular docking-based research. So far, she has 6 Publications in International peer reviewed journals in which three are Scopus indexed including Q1 journal. As a supervisor she has handled four B. Pharm Pharmacological research project and one survey.
Apart from academic works, she is also involved in social activities with an NGO named YPSA (Young Power in Social Action) and have done a social action project in collaboration with British Council which was approved for fund on the year 2021.
