Rukyea Yeasmin Mysha joined the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) as a Lecturer in 2026. She completed both her Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm.) degrees from USTC. Her M.Pharm. thesis focused on the bioassay-guided isolation and characterization of potential drug candidates from medicinal plants, emphasizing the discovery of bioactive natural products for future therapeutic applications. Her research interests and expertise include Natural Product Chemistry, Phytochemistry, Pharmacological Investigation, Disease Model Development, Pharmaceutical Formulation, and Green Synthesis.
She is actively engaged in research aimed at exploring medicinal plants as sources of novel bioactive compounds and advancing evidence-based pharmaceutical sciences through interdisciplinary approaches.
