Profile

Mr. Rupam Chowdhury joined the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurial Sciences at the University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) as a lecturer in 2012 after serving at the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology. Over the years, he has demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, and academic administration. Mr. Chowdhury earned his MBA in General Management from the University of East London (UEL), UK, and completed his BBA (Honors) in Accounting and Information Systems at the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. At present, he is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, aiming to build a distinguished academic career as a business scholar. His research interests include banking and economic development, green market orientation, consumer behavior, sustainable development, e-commerce, digital economy, and business education. He aspires to become a well-rounded academic with a strong focus on impactful scholarly contributions.

In addition to his academic responsibilities, Mr. Chowdhury has been actively involved in institutional development. He served as a member of the Self-Assessment Committee. Mr. Chowdhury is currently serving as the Chairman of the Department of Business Administration. He also contributes to university governance as a member of the Academic Council and actively participates in various academic and administrative committees, demonstrating his commitment to academic leadership and institutional excellence.
