Shazeda Sultana Oni is a Lecturer in Computer Science and Engineering with strong academic and research expertise in Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence. She completed her M.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from Comilla University, where her thesis titled “Autism Spectrum Disorder Detection Using Deep Convolutional Neural Networks” was successfully defended, focusing on AI-driven medical image analysis. Earlier, she completed her B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from Comilla University, with a project on “Speech Emotion Recognition using RNN & LSTM.” Her research has been supported by the UGC Thesis Fellowship for journal publication. She also secured competitive funding for her civic tech innovation project, ShikkhaBondhu-AI, under a UNDP-supported initiative and contributed to community technology engagement through the UNDP/ICT Cell 2-Day Bootcamp (October 21–22, 2025). Her teaching philosophy emphasizes practical learning, critical thinking, and research-driven education to prepare students for emerging technologies and real-world challenges.
