The Department of Business Administration (DBA), under the Faculty of Business & Entrepreneurial Sciences (FBES), University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC), successfully organized a Workshop on Student Sensitization & Data Collection for Self-Assessment 2026 on 30 July 2026 at 10:00 AM in Room 601, Level 6.
The workshop was graced by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Solaiman, Honorable Vice Chancellor, USTC, as the Chief Guest. Dr. Hadaate Ullah, Director, IQAC, USTC, and Mr. Dilip Kumar Barua, Registrar, USTC, attended as Special Guests. The Keynote Address was delivered by Dr. Subhra Prakash Datta, Additional Director, IQAC, USTC. The session was chaired by Mr. Rupam Chowdhury, Chairman, Department of Business Administration & Convener, PSAC, DBA, FBES, USTC, while Dr. Shahanara Basher, Assistant Professor, DBA, FBES, USTC, served as the Convener.
The workshop focused on engaging students in the self-assessment process, enhancing their understanding of quality assurance, and emphasizing the importance of accurate data collection for continuous academic improvement. A total of 100 students from the BBA program participated in this workshop and completed the self-assessment questionnaire. The initiative reflects USTC’s unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous quality enhancement in higher education.
